Lotto resumes ticket sales in Philippines

Operations will return only in areas under general community quarantine and modified general community quarantine.

Philippines.- The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has announced that Lotto operations, including ticket sales, will resume today (August 7).

Operations will only be allowed in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).

This will include not only draws but also ticket sales for lotto 6/42, Mega Lotto 6/45, Super Lotto 6/49, Grand Lotto 6/55 and Ultra Lotto 6/58.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma said the agency’s games in areas under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), as well as Small town lottery operations, would remain suspended until further notice.

Until now, the PSCO had only begun “catch up draws” for lotto tickets sold before the country entered in quarantine.
