Konami Holdings revenue up

According to the company’s latest report, Konami Holding revenue was up 16,2% during the first 6 months of the year.

Japan.- Konami Holdings latest financial data has been released and the outcomes seem to be quite positive. The Japanese entertainment and gambling conglomerate, presented a €122,7 million revenue for the first six-month of 2019; representing a 16.2% increase from a year earlier. Konami also saw a 4,1% increase in profit from its gaming and systems operations, a total of €14,1 million.

Even better results stand out when analysing Konami’s Asian Operations, representing 32,9% increase (comparing to the previous six-month period report) taking in a total of €33,16 million.

The company sustains that these positive results are a consequence of the company’s new products, namely KX 43 cabinet – launched earlier this year – and the Concerto line, which includes the Concerto Opus.

“The ‘KX 43’ continues to drive sales while the Concerto series of cabinets including the ‘Concerto Opus’ which we sold across all continents” said Konami.

Adding to this list is also the Synkros casino management system. Which according to Konami has “continued to be introduced steadily into major casino operators, including casinos at large cruise chips in service around the world.”

Furthermore, Konami’s recent improvements with its gaming operations are part of the reason the AGEM Index has been stronger. The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers index reached 500.69 points in September; indicating a 5.8% month-over-month increase, representing a 1.6% comparing to the same month last year.

Lastly, Konami expects to end the fiscal year on a high note, increasing its revenue and operating profit substantially.
