IEC closer to new Manila casino
The company is reviewing the terms of its draft provisional casino licence from PAGCOR.
The Philippines.- International Entertainment Corporation (IEC) is a step closer to adding a casino to its Manila operation.
It has now received the draft of the provisional licence agreement from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and is reviewing the terms.
In June, the firm, which operates New World Manila Bay Hotel and Casino through its subsidiary Marina Square Properties (MSPI), said it planned to redevelop an unnamed existing hotel to create a new integrated resort (IR) in the capital.
The Hong Kong-listed Marina Square Properties has three hotels in Manila: the New Coast Hotel Manila, BGC, and Clark.
