South Korea.- One of the biggest casino operators in South Korea reopens to the public from this week after an extended closure period due to Covid-19.

The firm operates three foreigner-only casinos under the Seven Luck brand.
A GKL executive explained to the local media: “We plan to maintain the countermeasures that were applied prior to the suspension of business such as social distancing, temperature checks on visitors, and the mandatory wearing of masks.”
GKL President Yoo Tae-Yeol added: “This is a difficult situation that we have never experienced before, but GKL is a public company, and we will do our best not only to stabilise our management, but also to create win-win initiatives with the tourism industry and local economies.”
