AGEM gaming equipment association gains new members

AGEM has incorporated six new members including Japanese manufacturer Omron.  

Asia.- The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) has announced it has incorporated six new members, including Japan’s Omron.

The Kyoto-based company manufactures and supplies pieces to electronic gaming machine manufacturers, including relays, switches, switch assemblies, sensors, lighting panels and motors. 

Other new members include American companies Empire Technological Group, Sparks Marketing Corporation and Marker Trax, as well as the Denver consultancy firm Global Market Advisors. 

The sixth new member is Netherlands’s KPMG. 

AGEM Executive Director Marcus Prater said: “AGEM appreciates the companies that have applied for membership in the recent months as all of the gaming suppliers have been working through the negative impacts brought on by the Covid-19 virus.

“AGEM’s new fiscal year began April 1 and we have suspended the collection of dues this year for all existing members as a small gesture of assistance for suppliers hit hard by the pandemic as we attempt to navigate this new landscape together.” 

The non-profit trade association now has 184 members.
