{"id":96661,"date":"2021-07-23T04:04:15","date_gmt":"2021-07-23T07:04:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/?p=96661"},"modified":"2021-07-23T08:03:36","modified_gmt":"2021-07-23T11:03:36","slug":"jw-marriott-to-open-former-fontainebleau-las-vegas-in-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qa.focusgn.com\/jw-marriott-to-open-former-fontainebleau-las-vegas-in-2023","title":{"rendered":"JW Marriott to open former Fontainebleau Las Vegas in 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The former Fontainebleau and Drew project will reopen as JW Marriott Las Vegas Blvd\u00a0in Q4 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>US.- JW Marriott has announced a planned opening date for the<strong>JW Marriott Las Vegas Blvd<\/strong>, which is being developed it what was going to be the Fountainebleu Las Vegas<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tallest property on Las Vegas Boulevard is expected to open in the <strong>fourth quarter of 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miami-based developers Turnberry Associates initially broke ground on the building in 2007 to develop the Las Vegas version of Miami&#8217;s Fountainebleu, but lenders of the deal backed out in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Billionaire Carl Icahn purchased the property in 2010 for $150m.
