According to the figures, slot revenue decreased in Connecticut compared to the previous month and year.

US.- Casinos in Connecticut have reported a decline in revenues for June, with numbers down both month-on-month and year-on-year.

The Foxwoods casino, owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, reported $24.9m in slot revenues, down from $32.7m in May and $33.6m in June 2020, when the casino reopened after being temporarily closed during Covid-19 lockdowns.

The Mohegan Sun, owned and operated by the Mohegan Tribal Nation, recorded $40.9m in slots revenue in June, down from the $44.9m the previous month and $45.5m last year when it reopened for business.

The casinos are required to channel 25 per cent of slot revenues into Connecticut’s general fund. Foxwoods provided $7.3m to the state in June, while Mohegan Sun paid $10.2m.
